Access to Okayama from Kansai Airport (Osaka)

1. Go To the JR (Japan Rail) station.
2. At the JR counter, buy tickets for Haruka and Shinkansen (Nozomi or Hikari) to Okayama with seat reservations.
3. Take a Haruka from Kansai Airport to Shin-Osaka and transfer to a Shinkansen there to come to Okayama.
4. It takes about two hours from Kansai Airport to Okayama and the fare is about 8,200 yen.
5. If your plane arrives rather late, then you should stay in a hotel near Kansai Airport for that night.
